Elementary School Students Infiltrate The Exhibition Hall as Explorers?!

In December 2023, 31 third graders from Joto Elementary School in Chuo Ward, Tokyo (which shares a campus with RX Japan in Tokyo Midtown Yaesu) went on a social studies field trip to Food Tech Week/Drink JAPAN, organized by RX Japan and held at Tokyo Big Sight. The children were given the opportunity to "explore" the exhibition venue, giving them the opportunity to experience the food tech industry and deepen their learning.

Within the venue, there were many booths displaying the latest food-related equipment, such as food delivery robots, automatic cooking robots, latte art machines, etc. We planned an "Exploration Tour" to explore these booths in the form of a quiz, and the children seemed to enjoy visiting the exhibition while actually touching the machines and listening to the exhibitors' talks.

We hope that this experience will inspire them to continue learning about food in the future and to discover the appeal of exhibitions.
